Full Day with the Lord

Friday, September 12, 2008 was a very full packed day at Word International Ministries-Al Ain (WIN-Al Ain). Our weekly service incorporated the celebration of the 12th year anniversary of the Young Adults of the Church.

As usual, I am always ready with my camera every time that there will be events and celebrations happening. I enjoyed clicking that shutter and capture and freeze memorable scenes.

Momentous it surely is. I was so blessed to learn that the Young Adults of WIN Al Ain can really dance before the Lord. There were first timers in the tambourine dancing performing during the praise and worship. Special mention is a fellow blogger Abby Sy whom you can find at the leftmost at the back row. I knew it. Bicolanas can dance so well, like Charry.

Who could ever missed that splendid special number. It also unleashed the acting skills of the YAs. PJ Jalosjos took the lead role as Jesus. Outstanding performance PJ. You also have brother Nick Joaquin as a bad guy as his role. If I were to describe bro Nick, he is one of the shortest memeber of the group, but beating tall and big guys almost twice his size. That gave the presentation some lighter moments.

Overall, outstanding number. A result of few sleepless nights of preparation. I personally knew it as my eldest daughter were sometimes involved in your practices. Worry not for I am not against it. We should all present only the best for our Father in Heaven and Jesus our Lord and Saviour.

All Visaya speaking among those present during the celebration sang out to the top of their lungs with the YA who rendered a Visayan song for their closing number. First time in four years I have heard a Visayan Christian song. Thanks YA for the song.

The celebration did not stop there. The Homebuilders Ministry held a Seminar-Workshop on Family Budgeting. We are so blessed that said activity was attended by 73 participants composed of members of the Ministry, some Young Adults, and some from other the other congregation.

Yeah, that is me on the above image. I was the speaker for the seminar-workshop. I thank the leadership of the Homebuilder's Ministry, led by Bro Melvin Laru-an for the support. Same gratitude is extended to our dear Pastor Edward and Family.

I am so glad that in my little way I could impart some knowledge on personal finance to fellow Christians. This seminar-workshop was second of the series that the Homebuilder's Ministry holds. First was about the ills of credit cards. I was the speaker of both events.

Since I am the speaker, my eldest daughter, Sophia spend her time with us keeping record of the event by using her hand-me-down canon eos300d. I am so glad that she now started to pick up the camera and using it more often.

More photos of the seminar-workshop can be found here: http://pai31.multiply.com/photos/album/7.

My day ended at around 10:30 in the evening. I was so pumped up with the result of the seminar-workshop, I was able to sleep 2:00 in the morning.

What a blessed full day with the Lord that was. I would never get tired doing work for the Lord's Ministry.
